I want to tell you something that most healthcare AI companies won’t say out loud.

The hardest part of building medical AI isn’t the model. It’s proving the model works on real patients, in real health systems, with real radiologists who have seen enough overhyped technology to be appropriately skeptical.

That’s why this milestone means more to me than almost anything else we’ve done.

Oatmeal Health is launching clinical validation studies for LungAI CADx at three of the most respected academic medical centers in the country: Mass General Brigham, Mount Sinai, and NYU Langone.

And the FDA has already accepted our pre-submission study design, confirming our 510(k) pathway to clearance, with clearance expected in Q2 2027.
